Who are Whole Foods?

Well, they seek out the finest natural and organic foods available, maintain the strictest quality standards in the industry, and have an unshakeable commitment to sustainable agriculture. Add to that the excitement and fun they bring to shopping for groceries, and you start to get a sense of who they are all about. Oh yeah, there’re a mission-driven company too.

Whole Foods are the world’s leader in natural and organic foods, with 462 stores in North America and the United Kingdom.

The Task

Create a buzz and hype around various stores in London, distributing discount product coupons to the public.

The Solution

4 Brand Ambassadors per store each handed out 650 flyers per day for three days across nine locations.

Locations included:

Clapham – Fulham – Richmond – High Street Kensington – Piccadilly – Camden – Stoke Newington – Cheltenham – Glasgow

Activity times were split in to three shifts to maximise the on-street activity at the busiest commuter times – and when those commuters were thinking of food!

The Results

All teams communicated the Whole Foods deals advertised, distributed snacks (when provided) and relayed relevant store information in a professional, informative, and always approachable manner.

Everyone reached their 650 voucher per day distribution target, with Camden, High Street Kensington and the Piccadilly branch exceeding targets.
